Miami Daily: Coastal Flood Warning

A coastal flood warning remains in effect for coastal Broward County and coastal Miami Dade County, the National Weather Service in Miami says. Officials warn of major coastal flooding with high tides, a high rip current risk, dangerous marine and beach conditions, and possible road closures and inundation of low lying property. Boaters and beachgoers should exercise extreme caution and expect hazardous surf and strong currents, the agency warns. Now here is Chloe with the forecast. Miami will reach about 84 degrees with showers and thunderstorms likely and a 60 percent rain chance. Northeast winds 24 to 28 miles per hour, gusting to 37, will whip up rough surf; expect a quarter to half inch and lows near 77, so hold tight. Now let us check in with Maya.
