Tampa: Early Voting Nears 40 Percent

Nearly 40 percent of Florida’s electorate have already cast ballots before precincts open Tuesday morning. According to the Division of Elections, 5.4 million of the state’s 13.7 million voters have already cast ballots through the mail or at early voting locations. That surge sets expectations for heavy turnout across the state on Election Day. Turning to local voting logistics, polls in the Bay Area are open today from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening. FOX 13 Tampa Bay says plan to vote at your assigned polling place during those hours. Also locally, find assigned polling places today on the county Supervisor of Elections websites. FOX 13 Tampa Bay says some polling locations changed after flooding; check the precinct finder before you go.
